LEGENDS of Malibu Presents Charity Earth Day Fashion Show to launch California Rising's Women's Collection

This is one incredible organic event!

Amber Valletta will be attending the Legends Fashion Show Event for Earth Day!!

Amber Valletta: model, actress, wife, and mother. Might we also add, quite a model citizen.

Just yesterday she comfirmed to attend our Fashion Show event next month in Malibu on April 19th. The event will be launching California Rising's brand new Women's collection, Peace, Love & Trees while promoting environmental awareness to the local Malibu community just in time for Earth Day 2008.

In an interview for Men's Vogue last year columnist Michael Mraz wrote, "If there's one thing Valletta is ultraserious about, though, it's the environment. Having been committed to various organizations, including Oceana's Stop Seafood Contamination campaign, for years, she says she would "love to go back to school for environmental studies. We're being raped of our born rights to clean air, water, and food."

Legends Boutique to host Earth Day Fashion Show in Malibu

This April 19th, LEGENDS in Malibu is asking you to "RISE UP" and live like a legend.

Give back this Earth Day by participating in a charity fashion show event featuring a legend on the rise, California Rising. The fashion show will launch the all organic clothing line's new Women's Collection for Spring 2008 titled, "Peace, Love & Trees" which will be exclusively available at LEGENDS the night of the event.

Join us in celebrating Earth Day 2008 while we advocate awareness within our local Malibu community. By celebrating the launch of this exciting organic women's line, LEGENDS is also announcing its own launch as it has recently transitioned into a timeless fashion retail boutique. Previously known as "Automotive Legends", the store has evolved into just another genius creation by owner, Wil Cashen. "The concept was to create an effortless correllation between cool cars & cool clothing, simply resulting in a legendary lifestyle." With aggressively achieving perfection in his custom built sports cars, the showroom in the Malibu Country Mart is no longer just a car showroom. The new and revived LEGENDS is just another way of integrating into his customer's way of living, one of those ways being "bring[ing] green to the scene".

Located in the heart of the "Malibu Country Mart", Legends is a unique and unforgettable retail space that is devoting the week of Earth Day to the Malibu community. In recent months, Malibu and residents suffered greatly from a tragedy of fires that destroyed substantial amount of residential and business properties. Due to the devestation, most of us in Malibu can say the end of 2007 left us with a tearful image of black charred trees, hillsides and worst of all, a greenish grey of dirty sea that stretches for miles within the great blue ocean along Malibu. The night of the event LEGENDS will be donating a great portion of sales to the community and local charities in our effort to give back to our local Malibu environment.

Coming together as a community happens naturally during tragic times and we want to recreate that feeling & reconnect with a celebratory event with amazing fashion, delicious foods, FUN & honoring the planet!
